Your LPG rates will be charged based on the day the bottle is delivered. If you order a bottle in September, but it's delivered in October, then you will be charged the new rate. 

The new cylinder rental rates will be applied on your account from 1 October 2025. 

The new bottle and delivery fees will be applied from the first delivery after 1 October 2025.

Yes, if you have both your electricity and gas with us, you’ll still receive your All Energy Discount of 30 cents per day.  

Your new rates will be available to view online from 1 September 2025 by visiting our webpage and entering your Account Number.  

On 1 October 2025, if you have natural gas or LPG with us, your rates will change. From 1 September, you can view your new rates online.

We try to maintain our prices as much as possible and we’re conscious of rising household costs.  These changes reflect an increase in the cost of delivering gas to you.

Yes, you can provide us with your gas reading by logging into your My Account, and submitting a photo and details of your meter read under ‘Submit meter read’ section.

If you’re adding bottled gas to your home for the first time, you will require a gasfitter to install and connect the system. Safety regulations require that once OnGas has delivered the cylinders, the gasfitter will need to return to the property to connect the installation to the gas supply (cylinders) and turn the gas on.

Apart from the gasfitter’s time and materials (e.g. pipework), there are some initial set up costs for your cylinder station which will also be incurred from your gasfitter. These are items such as the concrete pavers to place the cylinders on, chain set, regulator, regulator cover and hoses.
